This plot is beautifully situated in the village of Pisanets, 29 kilometres from the city of Rousse on the northern boarder of Bulgaria. Quiet and friendly this village has three shops and three pubs, the locals are friendly and very welcoming to new people in the village. There are 3 homes in the village owned by English people, one of which live in the village all year round. A lot of the villagers speak or have a good understanding of the English language.

Pisanets is well known for its clean air, as it is surrounded on three sides by pine forest, ideal for people with breathing difficulties. The village is under going a lot of modernisation at the moment, i.e.: road re-surfacing, internet access due to Bulgaria becoming part of the European Community in January 2007, satellite television and telephone lines are already available here.
